Lynn McGregor

Lynn McGregor was born in Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife, and trained at Edinburgh College of Art.

She works between Scotland and Ireland, currently living on the otherwise uninhabited island of Islandmore on Strangford Lough, with writer husband Michael Faulkner. Their island home is the subject of Michael’s 2006 book The Blue Cabin (www.thebluecabin.com) and is a primary source of inspiration for Lynn’s work. Michael’s latest book Still On The Sound - A Seasonal Look at Island Life, was released in November 2009.

Lynn was elected RSW in 2001. Her semi-abstracted landscapes are shown in galleries throughout the UK.
